The Development Review Committee for Alachua County approved a revised plan for the Tara Vista development at its February 20 meeting. The plan, which contained revisions to grading, will be taken up by the Board of County Commissioners at a later meeting.

During the meeting a committee member expressed concerns about the availability of on-street parking in the proposed development, and a resident asked about the effect of the 223-lot development on traffic patterns. It was also confirmed that the extension of SW 69th Terrace to the south will be done as part of phase two of the development.
