Alachua County residents will see changes to their trash pickup starting October 1. Yard trash and bulky items will be limited to two cubic yards each per week, and large appliances will be limited to three items per week.
Trash pickup day in Green Leaf will remain on Monday, but other areas of Alachua County may be assigned a new pickup day. Alachua County has prepared a special website to help residents understand the upcoming changes.
